1. GROUP starts compliance innovation offensive

The market for electronic communication is highly dynamic. Technological and regulatory requirements provide for continuous change. Our compliance innovation offensive is the answer to this development.

Compliance with operational and statutory requirements in handling business E-mail correspondence is a very real issue that has to be faced. Compliance has become a formative concept in this regard. As one of the leading players on the market for E-mail management, the GROUP is responding to these challenges with new innovative solutions. Therefore, we will continue to revolutionize E-mail security, E-mail archiving and mobility with new developments in the coming months.

You have something to look forward to. For a first impression, see our press release.

2. E-mail encoding made easy: WebCrypt introductory offer

As announced in the last newsletter, we are starting a new era of E-mail encoding with iQ.Suite WebCrypt. Never before has the use of consistent E-mail encoding been so easy. Due to a new, high-security technology, you will be able to exchange confidential E-mails with customers and partners who themselves do not have an encryption solution.

To make the introduction to the world of secure E-mail communication especially interesting, we will start an introductory offer on December 1, 2007. Contact your sales partner and take advantage of the special low price. This offer will end on February 29, 2008.

3. The GROUP column: What actually is a GROUPie?

The term certainly will not be new to you - it can regularly be found in the publications of the boulevard press: groupie. But what, actually, is a groupie? Let us see what Wikipedia has to say about the matter: "A groupie is usually a female person who devotes her sexual attention to an idol or star from the world of art and culture." The first groupies became active in the mid-1940s, when Frank Sinatra was surrounded by fans during public appearances.

But now, we have our GROUPies. With one major difference: they also exist in the form of males and their attention is (usually) devoted entirely to the issue of E-mail. To name some examples, they include the colleagues from Support and the (usually) female employees from Customer Care. And in contrast to the long backward trend in the classical groupie environment, our GROUPies will continue to work for your satisfaction in the future, as well.
