1. The Sparkasse Rhein-Nahe savings bank relies on iQ.Suite WebCrypt
Banks and building societies are facing increasing demands to improve their email security. More confidentiality is a core aspect of this problem and email encryption is the right answer. However, not all key- and certificate-based processes are suitable, particularly for communication with end-users.
Keeping these requirements in mind, the Sparkasse Rhein-Nahe savings bank chose iQ.Suite WebCrypt, the web-based and OPDV-certified email encryption solution from GROUP Technologies. Read our success story to find out about the security requirements this financial institution had to meet and how iQ.Suite WebCrypt proved to be the best solution.
Learn here how the Sparkasse Rhein-Nahe established an efficient and secure communication channel with its customers.
2. GROUP announces starter package for Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)
Increasingly, emails bear confidential information that could easily fall into the wrong hands. More than 50 per cent of all security deficits are accounted for by a company’s own employees. This harms businesses in several ways. The long-term consequences are negative headlines, annoyed customers and partners, decreasing revenues, competition setbacks and, not infrequently, enormous fines.
The growing importance of "information" as a good and, above all, the necessity to prevent data leakage are now firmly established as problems in the minds of executives and IT management. The term DLP (Data Leakage Prevention) is an important area within IT risk management in today’s business world. What is asked for is the prevention of unauthorised transmission of confidential information and the protection of your intellectual property.
Since 1992, GROUP Technologies stands for first class email content security. Our solution iQ.Suite supports Lotus Notes/Domino, Microsoft Exchange and WinSMTP servers so that your most important data can be protected on multiple layers.
This is why GROUP offers a dedicated starter package for Data Leakage Prevention for a subscription period of 12 months.
GROUP is your reliable partner and the guarantee for zero-tolerance in Data Leakage Prevention.

5. iQ.Suite Tips & Tricks for Lotus Domino: avoiding formula errors
Formulation rules permit work requests to be carried out independently of the result of a freely definable Notes formula expression. However, if different value types such as text and data are compared to each other, for example, iQ.Suite Watchdog for Lotus Notes Domino interrupts email processing with an error message.
Find out here how to use an extra query in a rule to stop errors in the formula hanging up your system.
