1. iQ.Suite WebCrypt email encryption solution receives OPDV certification
With confidentiality and data privacy playing ever more important roles today, the spotlight is moving onto the topic of email encryption. GROUP Technologies has reached yet another important milestone: the email encryption solution iQ.Suite WebCrypt has now received OPDV certification. That means business enterprises can now deploy the solution for efficient protection of email communication with their customers and business partners without any doubt. The certification process performed by S-ConSiT GmbH in Germany is equivalent to a program release and is used as guidance by many financial institutions.
"We are very pleased that our solution satisfies the high demands and quality standards. Certification means our customers can be sure that WebCrypt works correctly and reliably and that our in-house development processes and quality management satisfy the highest of demands," explains Herbert Reder, Managing Director of GROUP Technologies.
Certification was preceded by a testing phase lasting several months, during which not only the functional capability of the current version of iQ.Suite WebCrypt was tested. The experts at S-ConSiT also analysed the entire development process at GROUP Technologies as well as support and quality management.
The iQ.Suite WebCrypt email encryption solution allows the exchange of encrypted emails with customers and partners. The solution needs no installations at the recipient and can be managed centrally on the company side. Furthermore, the solution works without using key- or certificate-based methods such as PGP and S/Mime.

6. iQ.Suite Tips & Tricks for Lotus Domino: Verifying formula rules
One of the key strengths of iQ.Suite is a highly flexible set of rules that covers virtually every application scenario. Under Lotus Domino this set of rules operates with the @functions that are typical of Notes.
Read the latest issue of Tips and Tricks to learn how to verify both the syntax and functionality of these formula rules. It shows the formula rule "BigOrManyRecipients", which is used to check the size and the number of mail recipients.
7. Exchange/SMTP Corner: Fast access to quarantine
Anti-virus and anti-spam technologies in iQ.Suite from GROUP Technologies ensure that email viruses, harmful content and other critical file attachments are reliably eliminated and placed in quarantine.
All users receive an email labelled "iQ.Suite Quarantine" and can decide with a single mouseclick how much of this information they actually want to have delivered. In addition, email recipients can define the speed of quarantine access to suit their individual needs. 10,000 elements are displayed by default when the iQ.Suite quarantine is opened. They can raise or lower this figure, depending on their individual needs and requirements. The rule is: the lower the value, the faster they can access the quarantine contents.
Read here to find out how to modify these settings.
