1. Legally compliant E-mail signature: Henkel relies on iQ.Suite Trailer

Since the beginning of this year, more and more enterprises are relying on the GROUP solution for compliant E-mail signatures - iQ.Suite Trailer. The primary motivator here is the "Law on electronic trade registers and registers of cooperatives and the register of businesses" (EHUG). The formal requirements for E-mails as of January require enterprises to include specific information in all business correspondence.

Henkel is among the companies that have recognized the necessity of fulfilling this new requirement with a reliable and central solution.

2. Multi-level spam protection with iQ.Suite Wall

You know the problem: the constant increase in spam mails is increasingly becoming a time- and cost-intensive problem. A single security barrier is generally no longer sufficient. As with anti-virus protection, a multi-level system is necessary for spam, as well. iQ.Suite Wall offers the perfect solution. To supplement the existing technologies, such as blacklists/whitelists and CORE, we offer an additional security component: Sophos Anti Spam Interface, or SASI, for short.

SASI integrates seamlessly in iQ.Suite Wall and provides reliable and comprehensive protection against spam and other mass mails with its anti-spam engine and a pattern database. For example, the E-mails with messages in a PDF attachment that are currently in circulation are effectively detected and blocked. With little configuration, SASI can easily be activated to provide immediate protection. The fully automatic update of the pattern database ensures that the program is always up-to-date.

Have we aroused your interest? Convince yourself of the performance of SASI for iQ.Suite Wall in a free test with no obligation. For further information, please contact the GROUP at sales@group-technologies.com or your sales partner.

You can read about how SASI works here.

4. GROUP at the ECM Day in Cologne

The largest and most important event in the field of content management and document management next to the established trade fairs will take place on October 11, 2007. The ECM Day in Cologne is conceived as an information platform that allows plenty of room for networking, targeted information, presentations and professional seminars. The focus is on practical orientation and one of this year`s central topics: E-mail management.

Reason enough for us to use this opportunity to hold a presentation together with our customer, Advertum AG, on "Central E-mail management in the insurance sector". You can gain first-hand knowledge of how central E-mail management helps to meet the requirements for E-mail security and E-mail archiving. Other factors, such as the necessary legal compliance in E-mail communication and coupling with CRM systems, will also be discussed. More details on the event and registration can be found here.

5. The GROUP column: "The ball is round...

...and a match lasts 90 minutes". Sepp Herberger was not the only one who appreciated the game of soccer. After a long period of abstinence from athletic activities, the GROUP soccer team returned on August 17 with a furious comeback. The opponents were none less than the players of the dm-drogeriemarkt/filiadata team.

Both teams played with a high degree of motivation, with one goal in view: victory. Therefore, it was all the more surprising that the break from sports apparently had a positive effect on the GROUP team. After goals were scored by Christian Schröder and then by Reinhold Bihler in the second half, there was no stopping the GROUP team. The seemingly superior opponents were sent home after a sacrificing battle with a final score of 2:1.

With the first match hardly over, there is already talk of a return match... we look forward to finding out whether the GROUP team will continue to make a good showing in the future. Photos of our first comeback game can be viewed here.
